Even though entering their maiden European campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Missing key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding win that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion provided a platform for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some comically weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the traveling side.
